  • Sesame oil – 8-10 Minutes
  • Tofu – 150g (chopped in cubes)
  • Garlic – 4 cloves (Peeled and finely chopped)
  • Onion – 1 (peeled and finely sliced)
  • Yellow capsicum – 1 (chopped in squares)
  • Red capsicum – 1 (chopped in squares)
  • Soya sauce – ½ Tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 Tablespoon
  • Schezwan chutney – 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt – as needed
  • Cilli flakes – 1 Teaspoon
  • Corn flour slurry – (take cornflour and water in the ration 1:2 ratio and mix it well)
  • Spring onion – 1 stand (Chopped)
  • Sesame seeds – 1 Tablespoon

NOTE

In today’s Korean tofu recipe, We have used Kapiva sesame oil to help balance the taste and uplift nutritional value.

The recipe is a simple Korean vegetarian dish that contains crispy-fried tofu smothered in a spicy, sweet, and slightly tangy sauce. The tofu has a crispy exterior and a soft interior, making for a delightful texture combination.   • Heat a pan on low medium flame, add sesame oil to the pan and allow it to heat
  • Add tofu to the pan in small quantities and fry it till it turns golden brown in colour
  • In another pan add a few drops of sesame oil and add garlic, onion, yellow capsicum, and red capsicum and fry it for a couple of minutes
  • Once the vegetable becomes soft add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, schezwan chutney, chilli flakes, salt and cornflour slurry 
  • Mix all the ingredients well and cook it for a couple of minutes saute till a thick gravy is formed. 
  • Add fried tofu to it and cook it for a minute
  • Serve it after garnishing it with spring onion and sesame seeds
