The recipe saag paneer is commonly prepared with spinach and paneer, but we have used four types of saag to give it a touch of wholesomeness and taste. Below we have enlisted the ingredients you will be needing to make this saag paneer recipe. 

  • Bathua – 100g
  • Palak – 100g
  • Sarso – 100g
  • Methi – 100g
  • Garlic – 4-5 Cloves
  • Green Chillies – 2-3 (Chopped)
  • Salt – As per taste
  • Water – 120 ml
  • Sesame Oil – 4-5 Tablespoons
  • Paneer – 120g (Chopped in cubes)
  • Bhuna Masala Gravy – 150g
  • Red Chilly Powder – ½ Teaspoon

NOTE

  • In a pressure cooker, add methi, sarso, bathua, palak, garlic cloves, red chillies, salt, and water. Give the pressure cooker 4-5 whistles and keep it aside. 
  • In a frying pan, add sesame oil, and allow it to heat. Add paneer cubes to it and roast it until it’s golden brown. Transfer the fried paneer to a bowl.
  • Add bhuna masala mix in the leftover sesame oil pan and stir it for 4-5 minutes. Then add fried paneer and cook it for a minute or two. 
  • Add the cooked saag to it and mix it well for a minute.
  • Finally, your saag palak paneer recipe is ready; enjoy it with steamed rice or chapati.
