The recipe of paneer tikka masala is an authentic recipe with rich flavours. To get these rich flavours and smooth textures one needs to use a number of ingredients in the recipe. We have listed below all the ingredients one requires to make this scrumptious recipe. 

  • Besan –  1 ½ Tablespoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Amchur Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garlic Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Ginger powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Mustard Oil – 7-8 Tablespoons
  • Paneer – 250 g (cut in squares)
  • Tomato – 1 (cut into squares)
  • Capsicum – 1 (cut into squares)
  • Onion – 1 (cut into squares)
  • Curd – 1 Cup
  • Dry red chilli – 1
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Cloves – 4-5
  • Black peppercorns – 7-8
  • Coriander seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon -1 stick
  • Cardamom – 2-3
  • Onion – 1 (Chopped0
  • Garlic – 4-5 Cloves (whole)
  • Ginger – 4-5 slices
  • Green chilli – 2 (cut into halves)
  • Cashew – 5-6 (whole)
  • Tomato – 1 (chopped)
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Coriander powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Cumin powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Red chilli powder – ½ Tablespoon
  • Kasturi methi – 2 Tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves

NOTE

In this masala-loaded paneer tikka recipe, we have used Avadata organic red chilli powder and Praakritik garlic powder to supply the recipe with a hint of premiumness.

INSTRUCTIONS

Paneer tikka recipe is only prepared by someone who is good at it, if you didn’t know about cooking, then we have your back. We have listed the recipe’s instructions in detail. This is to avoid any confusion and help you make a delicious bowl of paneer tikka masala.

  • In a bowl take curd, besan, chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, garam masala powder, and mustard oil and mix all the ingredients together.
  • Add paneer pieces to the marination, coat it well and keep it aside for 30 minutes
  • Take a stick and place onion paneer and capsicum one by one 
  • In a pan put 2 tablespoons of mustard oil and grill the veggie stick
  • When it turns golden brown, put it aside
  • Take a pan, put mustard oil, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, red chilli, and bay leaf and fry it for a few seconds 
  • And put onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli fry it for about a minute
  • Add the whole cashew, tomato and salt and cook it till the tomato is reduced to half
  • Transfer the mix into a blender and blend it to  a smooth paste and keep it aside
  • In another pan, add mustard oil, cumin seeds, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and leave for 10-15 seconds
  • Now add the masala paste to the pan and when starts leaving excess oil
  • Add water to the masala and cook it for a couple of minutes
  • Put the Kasturi methi and  grill veggies in the pan by removing them from the stick
  • Mix the veggies and masala nicely and garnish it with coriander leaves
  • Finally, your paneer tikka masala recipe is ready.
