  • Sesame oil – 1 Tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Bay leaf – 1 (whole)
  • Red chilly – 1 (cut in two halves)
  • Black pepper – 5-7 (whole)
  • Clove – 5 (whole)
  • Cardamom – 3 (whole)
  • Ginger – 1 Teaspoon (grated)
  • Garlic – 6-7 (Chopped)
  • Online – 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilly – 2 (chopped)
  • Tomato – 2 (chopped)
  • Salt – As per need
  • Turmeric powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – ½  Teaspoon
  • Red chilly powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Garam masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Green Peas – 100 g (boiled)
  • Ghee – 1 Tablespoon
  • Hing – ½ Teaspoon
  • Paneer – 200 g
  • Kasturi methi – 1 Tablespoon

NOTE

In this restaurant-style paneer recipe, we have used Praakritik cold pressed sesame oil, Praakritik dhaniya powder and Avadata organics garam masala to uplift its nutrition and taste pallet.

INSTRUCTIONS

 In the recipe, we have two-star ingredients, matar and paneer. To provide flavour, we have added all the additional ingredients. This recipe can be enjoyed with puri, boiled rice, chapati, paratha, naan etc. it is a quick recipe with a few simple steps to follow. We have mentioned the recipe’s instructions below to help you make a mouthwatering restaurant-style Matar Paneer Recipe. 

  • Take a pan and heat it on a low-medium flame.
  • Add sesame oil, heat it, then add cumin seeds, bay leaf, red chilly, clove, cardamom, and black pepper, and saute it for a few seconds.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and green chilli and saute it for a few seconds. Then add onion and fry till the onion turns pink. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook
  • Add salt, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chilly powder, and fry till the tomatoes have reduced.
  • Now take a blender and blend the grind into a smooth consistency paste.
  • In another pan, add ghee; when the ghee gets heated, add hing, red chilly powder and the masala mix and saute for 1 minute. Add water and salt to it and again cook it for 5 – 8 minutes. 
  • Add boiled peas, and paneer and mix, then add garam masala and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add Kasturi methi before serving this Matar Paneer Recipe.
