Christmas is a wondrous jolly occasion! This special occasion accounts for a special treat! Though it’s easy to buy a cake from a bakery, homemade Christmas Cake has its own lovely charm. We’re gonna celebrate Christmas with a bang! Let’s have a look at this delightful Christmas fruit cake recipe.

INGREDIENTS Serving : 2 - 3 People

Dry Ingredients

  1. Flour – 1 cup
  2. Baking Soda – ¼ tsp
  3. Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  4. Baking powder – 1 tsp
  5. Brown sugar/ Castor sugar – ½ cup

Wet Ingredients

  1. Milk (Warm) – ¾ cup
  2. Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  3. Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  4. Orange juice – 2 tbsp (for soaking purposes)

Nuts & Berries Used In The Recipe

  1. Almonds – ¼ cup
  2. Apricot & mixed berries – ¼ cup
  3. Pistachios – ¼ cup

NOTE

For this delicious recipe, we have used Happilo Premium Roasted & Salted Iranian Pistachios and 24 mantra almonds. They are the best! We never settle on taste & quality

INSTRUCTIONS

Delicious Christmas Cake Recipe 

  1. To a bowl, add ¾ cup of milk. And then add 3 tbsp of Vinegar. 
  2. Mix Milk & vinegar well. 
  3. Now, add 3 tsp of vegetable oil to the milk mixture. 
  4. Add 1 cup of flour, ¼ cup of Brown/ castor sugar & 1 tsp of Baking powder to it. 
  5. Also, add ¼ tsp of Baking soda as well. 
  6. Mix all the ingredients well with a whisk to make the batter. 
  7. Soak your almonds, berries & pistachios in orange juice.
  8. Now, add ¼ cup of almonds, ¼ cup of mixed berries & ¼ cup of pistachios to the cake batter. Mix them both well.
  9. Finally, pour the batter into the baking tray & bake the cake at 180 degrees celsius for 20 – 25 minutes. 
  10. Your yummy Christmas cake is ready to be enjoyed!
