INGREDIENTS Serving : 2 - 3 People
Dry Ingredients
Flour – 1 cup
Baking Soda – ¼ tsp
Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Brown sugar/ Castor sugar – ½ cup
Wet Ingredients
Milk (Warm) – ¾ cup
Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Orange juice – 2 tbsp (for soaking purposes)
Nuts & Berries Used In The Recipe
Almonds – ¼ cup
Apricot & mixed berries – ¼ cup
Pistachios – ¼ cup
INSTRUCTIONS
Delicious Christmas Cake Recipe
To a bowl, add ¾ cup of milk. And then add 3 tbsp of Vinegar.
Mix Milk & vinegar well.
Now, add 3 tsp of vegetable oil to the milk mixture.
Add 1 cup of flour, ¼ cup of Brown/ castor sugar & 1 tsp of Baking powder to it.
Also, add ¼ tsp of Baking soda as well.
Mix all the ingredients well with a whisk to make the batter.
Soak your almonds, berries & pistachios in orange juice.
Now, add ¼ cup of almonds, ¼ cup of mixed berries & ¼ cup of pistachios to the cake batter. Mix them both well.
Finally, pour the batter into the baking tray & bake the cake at 180 degrees celsius for 20 – 25 minutes.
