Mushroom chilli is originally a Chinese recipe, which in India is cooked in an Indian way with loads of spices and sauces to make it flavourful and spicy. The recipe has a bunch of ingredients and each of them adds all together a different taste to the recipe. Below we have listed all the ingredients which you might need for making a toothsome plate of mushroom chilli.

  • Refined Flour – 2 Tablespoons
  • Corn Flour – 2 Tablespoons
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red Chilli powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Water – as per need
  • Mushroom – 100g (cleaned and chopped)
  • Olive oil – 2 Tablespoons
  • Ginger – ½ Tablespoon
  • Garlic – ½ Tablespoon
  • Green Chilli – 2 (chopped)
  • Onion – 1 Medium size (chopped)
  • Capsicum – 1 Medium size (chopped)
  • Soya sauce – 1 Tablespoon
  • Red chilli sauce – 1 Tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce – 1 Tablespoon
  • Vinegar – ½ tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder –  1 teaspoon
  • Sunflower oil – 10-12 Tablespoons (for frying)

NOTE

To enhance the flavor and taste of the mushroom chilli recipe we have used Gaia olive oil, which with giving is a tempting taste by increasing its nutrition quotient.

INSTRUCTIONS

Take a bowl, add refined flour and corn flour in it in a ratio of 2:1, salt, red chilli powder, and water and mix everything well; till you get a nice thick consistency batter

  • In it add mushroom and coat it well, and deep fry it, until its colour turns golden brown. Put the fried mushroom aside.
  • Now in a frying pan, take olive oil, when it is heated, put chopped ginger- garlic, and green chilli in it and saute it for a minute
  • And then add online and capsicum to the pan and saute it for 4-5 minutes 
  • Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, and tomato sauce, and mix everything well for a minute
  • Now for gravy add cornflour slurry (i teaspoon corn flour + 2 tablespoon water) to it and mix it well
  • To the pan add black pepper powder and fried mushrooms and stir it for a minute
  • And finally, the mushroom chilli recipe is ready.
