  • Brown rice – 1 cup (Soaked for 1 hour)
  • Beans – ¼ cup (Chopped)
  • Carrot – ¼ Cup (Chopped)
  • Capsicum – ¼ cup (Chopped)
  • Green chillies – 3-4 (Whole)
  • Turmeric – ½ Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garlic – 3-4 Clove (Chopped)
  • Coriander powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Curd – 1 Cup
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Onion – 1 (Sliced)
  • Salt – As per taste 
  • Bay leaves – 2-3 
  • Clove – 5-6
  • Cinnamon – 1 stick
  • Cardamom – 6-8
  • Biryani masala – 2 tablespoon
  • Dates – 8-10

INSTRUCTIONS

Biryani is something no one denies their love for it but couldn’t achieve the best taste as the one served in the restaurants. So here we are to help you out with this hurdle. After considering both taste and health, we have mentioned the brown rice recipe’s steps for getting good taste and health.

  • First of all, cook the rice and keep it aside.
  • Now, take a bowl and put carrot, beans, chillies and capsicum into it
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garlic into the bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients well and let it rest for about 20 – 25 Minutes
  • Heat a non-stick pan, and add bay leaves, clove, cinnamon, and cardamon to it 
  • After a few seconds, add sliced onions to it and fry it until it turns soft and takes a pinkish shade
  • In the pan, now add marinated vegetables, Biryani masala, chopped coriander, and date into it
  • Lastly, add cooked basmati rice, biryani masala and mint leaves and cover it with a lead.
  • Let it cook for 5 minutes now, open the lead and mix everything well
  • Finally, your brown rice biryani is ready to be served.
