  • Brown rice – 1 cup (Soaked for 1 hour)
  • Beans – ¼ cup (Chopped)
  • Carrot – ¼ Cup (Chopped)
  • Capsicum – ¼ cup (Chopped)
  • Green chillies – 3-4 (Whole)
  • Turmeric – ½ Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garlic – 3-4 Clove (Chopped)
  • Coriander powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Curd – 1 Cup
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Onion – 1 (Sliced)
  • Salt – As per taste 
  • Bay leaves – 2-3 
  • Clove – 5-6
  • Cinnamon – 1 stick
  • Cardamom – 6-8
  • Biryani masala – 2 tablespoon
  • Dates – 8-10

  • First of all, cook the rice and keep it aside.
  • Now, take a bowl and put carrot, beans, chillies and capsicum into it
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garlic into the bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients well and let it rest for about 20 – 25 Minutes
  • Heat a non-stick pan, and add bay leaves, clove, cinnamon, and cardamon to it 
  • After a few seconds, add sliced onions to it and fry it until it turns soft and takes a pinkish shade
  • In the pan, now add marinated vegetables, Biryani masala, chopped coriander, and date into it
  • Lastly, add cooked basmati rice, biryani masala and mint leaves and cover it with a lead.
  • Let it cook for 5 minutes now, open the lead and mix everything well
  • Finally, your brown rice biryani is ready to be served.
