Beetroot Pizza Recipe

Beetroot is a versatile vegetable that has various nutritional values and an ample number of benefits for health. It is being used in many different ways in cuisine worldwide. Beetroot is also being used as a salad ingredient when someone is preparing a healthy salad bowl for their morning meal. But what if I tell you, you can eat it along with your favorite junk food, pizza? Yes, I am talking about beetroot pizza.

And believe me, it’s not a hassling recipe to make at home. You can easily make this healthy pizza at home with easily available ingredients. This can be one of your favorite evening snacks when you don’t want to hit your diet badly. So, here we go with the beetroot pizza recipe to make your next meal interesting & happening.

INGREDIENTS Serving : serves 2

  • Beetroot flour
  • Olive oil
  • Cottage cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Yellow bell peppers
  • Chopped onions
  • Basil leaves
  • Pesto sauce
  • Salt, pepper, chili flakes

 

NOTE

As shown in the video, we have used the beetroot flour by ‘Country Kitchen’.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Take beetroot flour as required
  • add water and salt to it
  • knead a soft dough
  • add 1 tbsp olive oil over it
  • gently press and spread it in a circular shape
  • prick the base all over with a fork
  • now bake it on 250 for 25 minutes
  • spread pesto sauce over the pizza base
  • add cube cut bell peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes,
  • add basil leaves and cottage cheese over it
  • sprinkle salt, pepper, & chili flakes
  • now bake again for 10 minutes
  • enjoy your beet pesto pizza!
